The calf support is used in combination with the double rod for foot support. It prevents the feet and lower legs to move behind the foot support. The calf support should be considered for users with a lot of involuntary movements of the lower legs and feet and if the user needs to be ned with extended knees and thus elevated lower legs and feet.
