ADA Swimming Pool Lift Requirements
Lifts must have 300lbs minimum weight capacity
Must be capable of unassisted operation from the deck and the water
Must be able to drop the seat down to a minimum depth of 18" below stationary water level
Lifts must have a solid seat at least 16" wide
Footrests are required
Armrests are optional, but if included must be removable or fold clear of the seat when the seat is in the load position
